Awww! Beautiful! :hear: What a stunning little horse!
I was just wondering looking at this little guy, does he have pink or black skin underneath his white bits.. And if it's pink.. Do you have trouble with it in the sun? Will he need to wear protective gear and stuff when outside? having owned a pink skinned horse for only a few short weeks now, I'm findingg it rather challenging to arrange riding and other activities because I don't have an undercover arena or anything.. I have to stick to dusk and dawn, wear sunscreen etc...
So anyways.... I was just wondering because other people's experiances and opinions have helped me a lot so far

I think it's black...he's only a few days old, so we haven't had any problems with him so far. He's lucked out so far in that he's got black around his eyes - I don't think Tonka will have any problems.

A friend of mine does have a paint with a lot of white on his face (the horse is around 22) and he does have cancer around his mouth - which is pink skinned. The horse hated having sunscrean put on, so his owner didn't do it much to avoid the fight, so that could be a cause. The cancer has only developed in the last year.
